Strone Estate extends to 7,500 acres and offers challenging
stalking for one rifle for the fit and agile. The steep ground rises
from sea level to 3000ft and the views are breathtaking!
The resident open hill stag population is boosted by a good influx
of woodland stags during the rut.
Strone House is set in beautiful grounds and offers all-in packages
for the enthusiastic stalking guest. It is ideal for smaller groups
or 2 - 6 guests who will be looked after very well by Mrs Turnbull.
Her cooking is first class - tried and tested personally!
Run by the owners whose personal attention ensues that guests can
relax and enjoy a memorable sporting break or holiday.
I would strongly recommend that for these smaller groups - Strone
Estate is a great bet. Hunters/stalkers can stay at Strone Lodge,
with the owners, and are looked after on a fully catered basis to
include dinner, packed lunch and breakfast. Stalking is charged at
£450 per stag Inc VAT. Dinner Lunch and Breakfast plus accommodation
is £150 per night This also includes wines and spirits.
50% deposit with booking required.
