Hunting at Chasse de la Loire offers the challenge of wild boar stalking in the Loire region of France. Part of a 15,000-acre forest located just north of the Loire River, the Chasse de la Loire estate is set in superb woodland encompassing wild meadows and lake lands. Also enjoy home cooked food and local wines as part of the stay in your private lodge (sleeps six).

Wild boar hunting is available all year round with driven days organised for a minimum of six guns. Duck flighting, deer stalking, clay pigeon and fishing also available.

Weapons required

Estate rifles and shotguns available and included in the price of your stay. The estate has its own range for pre-hunt practice. Alternatively you may bring your own firearms with a European Firearms Pass.

Getting to Chasse de la Loire is easy by air, road or rail. There are many ways to reach us from across the UK and mainland Europe. We are only 25 minutes from Tours airport (fly with Ryanair from Stansted), two hours south west of Paris, 30 minutes from Tours train station or half a day’s drive from the northern ferry ports and the Channel Tunnel.

Transfers to and from local airports and train stations are included in the price of your stay.

£179 per hunter per day – this price includes:

• A day’s wild boar hunting on the Chasse de la Loire estate
• Accommodation in the Chasse de la Loire hunting lodge, reserved exclusively for your party (sleeps six)
• Full board, including all soft drinks
• A highly experienced guide accompanying each group
• Safety training and range practice
• Free transfers to and from Tours airport or local train stations
• All taxes

Non-hunters are priced at £89 per day/night. All prices exclude game fees @ £6/kg for boar and alcohol. POA for other game.

French hunting insurance and a temporary French hunting permit, which cost £75, are required by law for all hunters. We would be happy to arrange these for you at cost price.
