Rough Shooting at Trawesgoed Estate Lands.
SHOOT 2 of 3: Rhos Gelli-Gron near Gorfen Farm House
Shoot: Over an extensive area of wetland, rough pasture, and
moor land for walking up snipe woodcock, pheasant, hare, mallard,
teal, widgeon, carrion and foxes. This is approximately 600 acres in
size and includes included there is a cottage which sleeps 10
persons nears here and is available at a weekly/ weekend rent for
fishers or shooters.

Location and How to get there
Head for Pontrhydfendigaid and see yellow track on map to
Old Abbey Farm the shoot is outlined on hard copy map but the river
Gorffen is roughly the stop point and the forest edge as seen the
other point it runs down ‘nearly’ as far as Pantycraf ford, with the
hill Bryngwyn Bach being the central point of the land.
