IN HOUSE SHOOTS
Rough Shoot: The Hales End Shoot near Suckley Worcestershire.
Shoot Information: This is an excellent wood pigeon shoot
available to members over 450 acres, 350 being woodland beech and
deciduous mix. Some grass seed fields and other cover crops.
 This
is an excellent location and on my visits we have had 10-20 wood
pigeon some on 2lb in weight you just need to know there flight
paths so a couple of visits will suit you well, you can bag rabbit
here as well kill all squirrels and Jays please, the open fields
need to have a hide on them for success the owner does not mind this
and we are considering some roost shoots during the summer for meet
dates please ring me first, you can park in the houses courtyard,
please ring and ask for Ron Cotam the owner has a booking sheet
please fill it in and leave your bag total before departing as well,
if the owners are not in leave on paper through the door please. I
am arranging a member’s/ beaters mop up day or two at the end of the
season for all Cock pheasant no cost just a job to be done.
What species on land
- Pheasant
- Partridge
- Pigeon - you can shoot this species only along with collared
dove.
- Woodcock
- Mallard
- Teal
- Rabbit - all rabbit to be shot
Season
- All game bird October 1st February 1st Woodpigeon – no
closed season

Location and how to get there.
From the Worcester – Leominster main A road the A44 turn of towards
Suckley if you find Suckley church, these instructions are near
perfect- keep the church on your right as you pass it go to T
junction, then turn left and immediate right carry on for 2 miles
the road splits there is a house on your left at this junction
called the stone house pass this and turn left over small stone
bridge over river and the next large Georgian house in white it is
called ‘Hales End’ turn left into the drive, look for the flag pole
you can see it easily.
