DRIVEN SHOOTING
Nannau Estate, Dolgellau, North Wales.
Shoot Information: (New challenging driven shoot for
2005/6 season) members or non-members welcome parties of 8-10 guns
are welcomed and respectively a team of syndicate guns 8-10 at £5000
for 10 days all compliments included for members and 20 days at £35
plus vat shooting.sh syndicate members cost at £32.00 includes all
compliments.
This is a seriously challenging high bird shoot in magnificent
scenery, all compliments, breakfast on arrival if required, but
normally Coffee, full lunch, and drinks afternoon tea and cakes. We
provide 200-250 bird days here, we have put down 22,000 birds
pre-season start the shoot is geared to having 30 days total 10 days
for syndicate @£5000 a gun and 20 days of various bird numbers, this
is a testing shoot with very high fast birds we allow a 5.1 shot
ratio, we can tailor drives for your success as required having over
40 named drives available, the
shoot is run and organised by Andrew Hobday, and Mr & Mrs Alan and Heather Moore from Worcester where
they have successfully operated for a number of years in Worcester
on various shoots here.

Location and how to get there
From the A494 to Dolgellau please see map at Nannau turn right of
the main road follow road around as per red dots heading up to Lake
Cynwch (Sinwuk). The house is on the left drive in and park on the
extensive drive hot coffee and food waiting for you.

Hospitality
At the start of the day guns and their guests gather in Nannau for a warm
welcoming tot of Sloe Gin before choosing their peg numbers.
Lunch is hosted in the House. Jenny Ephrain (Efrime), your host
serves a superb combination of Welsh Black beef Dinner and sweets.
Washed down with complimentary sherry.
Everyone’s invited to an end of day in front of a roaring log
fire, where you can enjoy a homemade cake and tea.

Previous Bags
This is a new shoot resurrected from the ashes of the old
original estate but it is not uncommon in the past to hit the
250-bird mark.
